Project: General Motors Dealership
Client: Carbone Auto Group
Location: Yorkville, NY
Cost: $1,600,000
Project Description: The Carbone GM Dealership project consists of additions and renovations to an existing dealership that was
partially destroyed by fire. Two additions, totaling 3,700 square feet, were added to the existing facility for a total of 32,000
square feet.
The project included renovations and reconstruction of the showroom, offices, parts, service and restrooms inside
the existing footprint. The additions contained a drive-in service reception with an extended canopy, service offices, body
shop offices and employee breakroom and restrooms.
To expand the existing showroom and connect it to the service & parts
area, a two story round secondary showroom called "The Hub" was created. This space was topped off with a fourteen foot diameter
skylight.
At the time of this project, the facility housed GMC, Pontiac, Buick, Cadillac & Saab brands and was designed to
meet General Motors Design Standards on the interior and exterior.
