Project Description: The Liverpool Public Library project consists of plan studies for the Library's main facility and a proposed satellite facility.

 

The project was to expand the current library and assist in the selection of an available existing building to develop into a satellite library in an adjoining town, or design a new satellite library on a new site.  The existing library could no longer reach a spreading service area or adequately accommodate the ever expanding services offered to the community.  The task was to develop conceptual floor plans for both locations that efficiently arranged the many services offered by the Liverpool Public Library.  The conceptual designs were to take into consideration such issues as efficient utilization of space, costs and changing technology.
