Project Description: The Belgium Cold Springs Fire District project consists of both interior and exterior renovations to an existing 19,800 square foot metal building, converting it into the Fire District's Offices & Maintenance Facility.

 

On the exterior the metal roofing & roof insulation was replaced, damaged metal siding was replaced, exterior doors were replaced, new overhead doors were cut into new locations, the foundation was excavated and repaired and the masonry and metal siding was painted.

 

On the interior the existing office layout was used with some additional rooms & walls.  The office area received new finishes by the Owner.  The vehicle storage & maintenance area of the building was reconfigured to meet the needs of the District, including the addition of a vehicle lift.  The vehicle storage & maintenance area received a new epoxy floor coating with an anti-slip additive.

 

The site received improvements including tree removals, re-grading around the building for drainage, a stone drip strip around the building and new asphalt pavement to access the new overhead doors.
